When is the best time to apply weed control in Oklahoma?

Pre-emergent treatments are most effective when applied in late February to early March, before soil temperatures reach 55°F. Post-emergent treatments can be applied throughout the growing season. We also recommend a fall pre-emergent application to prevent winter weeds like henbit and chickweed.

Will weed control treatments damage my lawn?
